About Me
I’m an AI governance researcher based in London, UK.
Currently, I’m a Research Scientist on Google DeepMind’s Frontier Safety team, where I focus on risk management policies for catastrophic AI threats. Before this, I was a member of policy staff at METR and spent time as a Research Scholar at the Centre for the Governance of AI, where I’m now an affiliate. I have a degree in political science and philosophy from the University of Toronto.
I’ve done research fellowships and summer programs at the Center on Longterm Risk and the Institute for Law and AI (previously called the Legal Priorities Project). Earlier in my career, I also co-founded Trajectory Labs - an AI safety community hub and co-working space in Toronto.
In my personal life, I've pledged to donate at least 10% of my annual income to charities that most effectively improve the lives of others.
